THE HUMBLE

Our Father puts great value and says He is near to those who are humble. He promises that they will someday see and live in peace on this earth. He also promises to the humble, who are seeking justice and attempt to do what is right, that they may be hid in the day of His anger.

Scripture:
I Peter 3:4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

Psalms 34:18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

Psalms 37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Psalms 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou will not despise.

Isaiah 66:2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

Zephaniah 2:3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’s anger.

WHAT HAVE WE LEARNED?
We have learned that Our Father places great value on humility and possibly the humble will be hid during the day of His anger.

Our Father appreciates the fact that you are trying. May God’s blessing be upon this
study of His word, Amen.
Susan
